About Us
Our mission is the optimal utilization and stewardship of the over 1,300 endowment funds and more than 600 gift funds entrusted to Harvard Medical School. Through working with a diverse community of constituents on the Quad and also at affiliated institutions, our goal is to deliver the knowledge and expertise required for the Dean's office in order to identify ways to pay for school commitments made to Quad departments so that the school can maintain long-term financial sustainability. Primary activities of the team are review of new terms, terms compliance, stewardship reporting, production and distribution of endowment budgets for school and affiliate departments, utilization of funds to cover school commitments, as well as working in tandem with our Financial, Planning & Analysis Team to best support their efforts, such as the school budget, long-range financial plan, and ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the CFO and Dean.
